The Bavarian Interlude Chalet is located in the village of Chamerau in the Nature Park Upper Bavarian Forest, Germany. It is NE of Munich and close to the Danube river and the Czech Republic and Austrian borders. The Bavarian Forest enjoys the purest air in Germany and is part of Central Europe's largest forested region which is also known as the Grüne Dach Europas (the green roof of Europe). This area with its endless forest-covered mountains is embraced by the cities of Nuremberg (Nürnberg), Passau, Regensburg and Prague.
A paradise for nature lovers and people who enjoy romance and adventure awaits. Our guests are off the beaten path but still close to activities and adventure. The nearby Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald (Bavarian Forest National Park), Germany's oldest National Park, with its virgin forests is a protected jewel that is only accessible to hikers or visitors riding special electric buses.
